Ballet Dance Classes
Dance Levels: Kinder thru 4
			   • Students at this age may begin a full hour of ballet training.
			   • They will be introduced to a formal study of classical ballet.
			   • A structured sequence of training stages is designed to increase technical skills, stamina and discipline in accordance with the dancer’s age and physical development.
			   • The ballet curriculum stresses correct body placement and the development of strong and flexible bodies.
			   • Careful repetition of exercises allows students to make consistent progress when they move to the upper levels.
			
Dance Levels: 5 thru 7
				• Students at this age have the option of taking 2-3 ballet classes per week.
					
				• Taking two or more classes per week will begin the preparation 
   for pointe work which begins around age 12.
				• Pointe work is subject to the teacher’s recommendation as to when a dancer is ready to start.
	
			
Dance Levels: Pro 1-3 & Teen 1-2
				• This is the most advanced training and encourages students to attend a minimum of 3-4 ballet technique/pointe classes per week.
					
				• Combinations taught in these levels are choreographed to develop the dancer’s specific 
							 qualities, elevate their technical level and advancetheir sense of artistic quality thereby helping them pursue dance professionally.
